How Orion’s Acquisition of Advizr, Inc. Will Transform the Client Experience
On July 11, our sister company Orion Advisor Services acquired Advizr, Inc., a financial planning and client experience technology platform known for its sleek interface and intuitive user experience.
What does that mean for ftj | FundChoice?
Our mission has always been to help advisors simplify the way they run their businesses so they can focus on delivering the best experience possible for their clients. Offering access to Orion’s robust suite of technology solutions is helping us do just that.
Now, with Orion’s acquisition of Advizr, our advisors will be able to completely transform the client experience.
The financial industry’s shift to planning-based relationships, coupled with rising consumer demands thanks to digital delivery giants such as Amazon and Netflix, has resulted in the need to for advisors to differentiate themselves by not only meeting client expectations, but exceeding them.
To do that, connection and collaboration are critical. Combining Orion’s best-in-class technology with Advizr’s planning-led platform gives advisors the tools they need to strengthen their client relationships by empowering open conversations that turn clients from passive observers into active participants in their financial futures.

Integrating Advizr with the Orion platform allows our advisors to:

- Upgrade clients to a best-in-class client portal
At ftj | FundChoice, our focus has been on the investing “how”: using our MMS™ to diversify across strategic and tactical asset allocations, as well as non-correlated assets. By adding Advizr’s capabilities to our services, we’ll be able to incorporate the “why”: increasing transparency in client communications and marrying strategies with goals to create a purpose-driven roadmap.
Advizr will be folded into the Orion tech platform, and the integration will roll out in phases. Advizr’s Advice-Driven Experience tool will become part of Orion’s core solutions — similar to reconciliation, reporting, billing, and trading — available to ftj | FundChoice advisors.
