The Next Evolution in Portfolio Management
The third and final award went to Orion Portfolio Solutions, this time for its own direct indexing offering, in the Separate Accounts category.
As was the case with the win for CLS Investments, the Orion Portfolio Solutions’ direct indexing models offer advisors a way to mass customize tax-managed index replication strategies to their clients.
Earlier we mentioned that direct indexing accommodates ESG preferences, and it also accommodates client market exposure preferences, as well as the ability to easily hold legacy assets in an account, while still managing the rest of the assets in an account according to a particular model.
Direct indexing is offered through SMA optimization technology called ASTRO, which gives advisors everywhere a much more affordable way to incorporate SMA portfolios and direct indexing into their practice than has traditionally been available through other providers.
